Tompkins Studio is a boutique design studio based in Melbourne, Australia, founded by Taimoor Sohail in 2026.
We turn open transport data into art. Every map starts with a city's real timetable or traffic counts: we trace every scheduled train, tram, bus and ferry across a single regular weekday, weight each route by how often it runs, and let the busiest corridors burn brightest. The same data drives our timelapse reels, where a whole day of a city's movement plays out in under a minute.
Every design is rendered at full print resolution and printed on demand by our print partner, so nothing sits in a warehouse and each order is made for you.
The data behind every print is credited on the product page, and we only sell maps made from data whose licence allows it.
