Tompkins Studio takes commissions for geospatial maps, animations and data analysis.
Everything you see in the shop and on our reels is built from data: timetables, tap-on counts, traffic sensors, flight tracks. We turn data like that, or your own, into maps and motion that people actually stop to look at. If you have a place, a dataset or a question, we can make something from it.
What we make
- Animated data maps: anything that happens somewhere, at some time, brought to life. Transport networks, yes, but also incidents and safety events, utility and infrastructure networks, deliveries and fleets, sensors and field data. Made for social media, campaigns, presentations and reports.
- Custom maps and posters: your city, your route, your network, or a place that matters to you, printed or digital.
- Data analysis: geospatial analysis of your own datasets, from cleaning messy records through to the hotspots, trends and seasonal patterns, presented as clear maps and charts that tell the story.
